Joplin teenager, Seneca woman injured in two-vehicle accident on 43

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 8:32 p.m. Wednesday on MO 43, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Acura TL driven by Alexis R. Wilson, 18, Joplin, attempted to turn left and failed to yield to a 2009 Hyundai Tiburon driven by Kaylee J. Wolfinbarger, Seneca.

Wilson refused to accept care at the scene for minor injuries.

Wolfinbarger was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
