Weather hazards expected... Limited tornado risk. Elevated hail risk. Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk. Significant lightning risk. Elevated non thunderstorm wind risk. DISCUSSION... Windy conditions will continue today with southerly winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to near 45 mph in southwest Missouri and southeastern Kansas. Thunderstorms will develop by mid to late afternoon across Arkansas and Oklahoma and move northeast into southern missouri by mid evening with other supercell thunderstorms moving in from Kansas along the dryline. Some of the more intense supercell thunderstorms may produce hail up to the size of baseballs, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and isolated tornadoes. Any line segments that move to the north and northeast will be capable of producing damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Supercell thunderstorms will be the more common storm mode west of US Highway 65 with line segments more favored east of US Highway 65. There is still some uncertainty in the exact timing and evolution of storm development this afternoon and evening. Additional updates are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Another freeze is possible Saturday night however chances are higher Sunday night. Gusty southwest winds of 30 mph will be possible over southeast Kansas and western Missouri on Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed later today and tonight across the entire area.
