A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:55 a.m. Sunday on Elm Road, a half mile south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Katie E. Steinle-O'Dell, 30, Carthage, driving a 2010 GMC Sierra, fell asleep at the wheel, ran a stop sign and crashed into a ditch.
Steinle-O'Dell was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
