A Pittsburg, Kansas woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:50 a.m. today on MO 171, one-tenth of a mile south of Opolis.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Hayley M. James, 25, Pittsburg, driving a 2007 Saturn Ion, was looking at her cell phone, ran a stop sign, struck an embankment, causing the car to overturn several times.
James was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
