On 06/29/2018, the Neosho Police Department arrested an individual and transported him to the Newton County Jail.
The individual was combative and uncooperative when he arrived at the jail. A short time after he arrived a corrections officer observed that he had become unresponsive. Medical personnel were called and it was determined that the individual was deceased.
He is identified as Forrest Stockton, a white male, 30 years of age. He shows a Noel, Missouri address.
An autopsy was conducted on 07-01-18. While the final autopsy results have not been received, the preliminary results indicate a probable drug overdose.
