Lamar residents injured in accident on 43

Two Lamar residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 6 p.m. Saturday on MO 43, 15 miles southwest of Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Amanda A Coyle, 22, Lamar, ran off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, struck an embankment, and overturned.

Coyle and a passenger, Richard B. Wilson, 20, Lamar, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
