Crowder College Foundation Scholarship Banquet held

The Crowder College Foundation 26th Annual Scholarship Banquet took place Monday, October 12, in Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Neosho campus. Over 450 scholarship recipients, donors, and guests were treated to a dinner catered by fellow students in the Crowder Aggie Club. The Foundation awarded 250 students $205,000 for the academic year.

The 2015 Outstanding Alumnus, Kevin Goodwin (pictured),was the keynote speaker for the evening. A 1982 Crowder graduate, Goodwin, went on to MSSC (now MSSU) to earn his bachelor’s. He also holds a masters of health administration from Saint Louis University. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Four Rivers Division of Mercy Clinic, a position he has held since June 2012.

The Foundation is celebrating 50 years of service to the college. The Foundation is a 501(c) 3 that raises money throughout the year for continued support of scholarships and other initiatives for the institution. The 13th Annual Festival of Wreaths, the Foundation’s largest scholarship fundraiser, will be held November 17, in the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the Neosho campus.
