Three injured in three-vehicle accident near Neosho

Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 2:20 p.m. today on U. S. 60, two miles west of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Terrell C. Oatts, 23, Carthage, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, then traveled across the roadway into a 2008 Kia Optima driven by Brenda R. Forste, 72, Neosho. The Oatts vehicle then struck a 2000 Ford Taurus driven by Rusty D. DeMoss, 49, Noel.

A passenger in the Forste vehicle, Max H. Forste, 74, Neosho, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

DeMoss and a passenger in his vehicle, Yzabelle Delacruz, 13, Noel, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
