A Wheaton man was charged with driving with intoxicated following a head-on collision 8:30 p.m. Sunday on MO 86, two miles west of Fairview.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Chevrolet Impala driven by Jackson M. Pelep, 40, Wheaton, crossed the center line and struck a 2004 Dodge pickup truck driven by Tiffany M. Brost, 31, Stella, head on.
Brost was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Pelep was treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.
Pelep was also cited for failure to drive on the right half of the road and for not having a driver's license.
