Neosho, MO – Crowder College will honor its 3rd college President, Dr. Dell Reed, in naming the Technical Education Center on his behalf. Dedication ceremony will take place, Friday, October 30, at 1pm, in the Dell Reed Technical Education Center building on the Neosho campus. Following the naming tours will be available.
Dr. Reed’s family will be on hand to honor his service and leadership to the college. Reed was president from September 1968 through his retirement in June 1985.
The Technical Education Center houses programs such as automotive, collision repair, diesel, drafting and design, computer networking, early childhood education, advanced manufacturing, construction technology, health sciences and criminal justice.
The college has planned an additional open house event on Thursday, October 29, from 5-7pm. Students and faculty will be on hand to provide tours and demonstrations. The SkillsUSA students will be selling chili and drink for $5 to raise funds for district, state, and national competitions for the upcoming year.
Both events are open to the public.
