On October 30, 10:29 AM, the Joplin Police Department responded to a report of a deceased, clothed, male underneath the Main Street Bridge, north of F Street and adjacent to the railroad tracks.
A pedestrian-passerby observed the body and reported it. There are no indications consistent with a train-pedestrian accident.
Details will be forthcoming as they are available.
Update # 1 The death investigation continues. An autopsy is to be performed:the date of which is yet to be determined. The deceased has not yet been identified. More details will be released as they become available.
