Academic Information
·         It is time to plan for Spring 2016 enrollment! Be sure to make an appointment with your advisor to see what you need to take to finish your degree. Priority enrollment begins November 9. ·         Fall 2015 Graduation ceremony will be held December 12, at 10am, in Bob Sneller Gymnasium. Congratulations graduates!
Roughrider Student Activities
·         Homecoming events sponsored by Campus Life, Nov. 4 & 5. Home opener basketball game at 6pm. Elections for King & Queen will be Nov. 3-4, 10am-3pm, in Wright Conference Center. Dance is from 8pm-midnight, Nov. 5, in Wright Conference Center where the King & Queen will be crowned. More information to follow.
·         Applications for students to apply for the annual Giving Tree will be available Nov. 1-15. Details will be emailed to students through their campus email Nov. 1.
·         Tickets for the Hunger Games – Mockingjay Finale, are on sale daily in the Student Center, noon-1pm. Tickets are $10 to the show at B&B Theatres, Neosho. All proceeds go to the Giving Tree fund.
Roughrider Athletics
·         Roughrider Soccer closed out the season with a loss to St. Louis, 1-2. For the complete season schedule go to: http://crowderathletics.com/sports/msoc/2015-16/schedule
·         The Roughrider Women’s Basketball team will play Oct 30-31 in Harrison, AR, 5:30pm & 12pm, respectively. Season opener is at home on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 6pm. For a complete schedule go to:http://crowderathletics.com/sports/wbkb/2015-16/schedule
Campus Community Events
·         Crowder Technical Education Center Open House - October 29, 5-7pm. Tours showcasing the programs available in the Tech Center will be available. The SkillsUSA students will also be selling chili for $5 per ticket (includes chili and toppings with drink) to help defray expenses of state and national competitions. This event is open to the community. For more information call 417-455-5650.
·         Naming and dedication ceremony for the Dell Reed Technical Education Center will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 1pm. Dr. Reed was the 3rd president of Crowder College. This event is open to the public.
·         Friends of Lee Library’s Guest Speaker Series upcoming speakers:
o   Kay Hively, local historian and columnist, will speak on local Civil War battles, Oct. 27, 2015, 2-3:30 pm
o   Tom Higdon, local historian, will present on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 2015, 2-3:30 pm
·         Transport Training will host the Region 4 National Association of Publicly Funded Truck Driving Schools, Oct. 29-30. For more information contact: DarrinPfeifly@Crowder.edu or call 417-455-5404.
Foundation Events
