Academic Information

Roughrider Athletics
·         The Roughrider Women’s Basketball team is now 13-11 on the season. They defeated #15 Iowa Western, 81-63, this past weekend. Way to go Lady Roughriders! They will play at home, Wednesday, Feb. 3, 6:00pm, vs. Arkansas Baptist (Employee Appreciation night) and at Mineral Area, Saturday, Feb. 6, at 2pm. ·         Roughrider Softball will begin their spring season Feb. 5 on the road. Their 1st home game will be Feb. 25 @ 2pm. For more information go to:www.crowderathletics.com

Crowder Foundation Events
·         Buy a Book. Build a Future. Local author Allen Kent is donating 100% of the proceeds of all book sales to benefit the Crowder College Behavior Support Center. The goal is to sell 42,000 books before June 30. Find out more: https://501auctions.com/buyabook
Campus Community Events
·         Crowder Quill entries must be postmarked today, Feb. 1, or hand delivered/emailed by Feb. 3. Find entry forms and information at: http://crowderquill.com/
·         Art Exhibit in Longwell Museum Jan. 12-Feb. 5. Kristine Allphin is an award winning artist. An artist reception will be held Saturday, Jan. 30, 5-7pm. Normal museum hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. This event is free and open to the public. Please call the museum at 417-455-5470 if you have questions. Allphin’s education in graphic design and illustration bring and original style, sensitivity and craftsmanship to her batik work. ·         Art Exhibit in Longwell Museum, Feb 9 -25, April Davis - 2015 TH Benton Art Show Grand Prize winner. She is a sculptor and painter, born and raised in Texas before returning to her father, Lowell Davis’s roots in Carthage, MO to live near Red Oak II to raise her family.  Normal museum hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.
