A Purcell man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:45 a.m. today on Route D, one mile north of Oronogo.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Alva E. Melton, 77, Joplin, was slowing to make a left turn and rear-ended a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by John P. Wynn, 40, Purcell.
Wynn was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
