A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4 a.m. today on Route EE, three miles east of Newtonia.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Peterbilt driven by Mark A. Mensen, 47, Joplin, ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, overturned and crashed into a fence.
Mensen was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
