I-44 CLOSED at Night Between Exit 6 & Exit 8 in Joplin at Connecticut Ave. Bridge Jan. 30-Feb. 1

Where: I-44 between Exit 6 & Exit 8 in Joplin

When: 9:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Jan. 30-Feb. 1

What: Contractor crews demolishing the Connecticut Avenue bridge over I-44 to make way for a new bridge

Traffic Impacts:
All lanes of I-44 in both directions CLOSED during evening hours Jan. 31-Feb. 1
Drivers will be detoured using Main Street (Exit 6), 32nd Street and Range Line Road (Exit 8)
All lanes of I-44 will be OPEN to traffic during daytime hours

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
