The Neosho Dogwood Run, a local organization that handles the annual 5K Run and distribution of the dogwood trees, has donated four picnic tables to the City of Neosho Parks Department.
These tables were constructed by the Vocational Technical Department at Crowder College under the direction of Mike Aldridge.
Eldon Morgan, representative of the Neosho Dogwood Run, met with Sally Pennington, Parks Director, and plans have been set for delivery and presentation of the picnic tables on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. under the Webb Pavilion in north Morse Park.
The 2018 Neosho Dogwood Run will be the 33rd Annual presentation of the run which has a unique presentation each year by providing a dogwood sapling to each participant. Cost for participating in the 5K Run is a minimal $8.
