Webb City, Joplin fire departments control blaze at 2613 N. Range Line

1-4-2018: Webb City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 2613 N Range Line. 

Crews arrived to find a smoker located at the rear of the building engulfed in flames. The fire had started to spread into one of the occupied stores. 

Crews from Webb City FD and Joplin FD made an aggressive attack and were able to keep the fire contained to the one unit with minor fire damage. They were assisted by Carterville FD, METS, and Webb City PD. The rest of the units did have to be cleared of light smoke. There were no injuries.
