A Carthage man was injured in a motorcycle accident 8:35 p.m. Sunday on Chapel Road, two miles south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle driven by Tucker J. Heisten, 21, Carthage, failed to negotiate a curve, skidded off the right side of the road and overturned into a ditch.
Heisten was treated for unspecified injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
