An Arkansas woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 5:25 p.m. Sunday on MO 43, one mile south of Tiff City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1991 Honda Accord driven by Frances I. Carlisle, 50, Maysville, Arkansas, traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected and overturned.
Carlisle, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving, no valid driver's license and no seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
