Barton County authorities arrest woman for second DWI in five days, BAC three times legal limit

(From the Barton County Sheriff's Office)

On 01-02-2018 The Barton County Sheriff's Office was told about a subject who had left the Barton County Courthouse and appeared to be impaired.

The complainant advised the subject had left in a vehicle and was driving westbound on 12th Street in Lamar.

Lamar officers and a deputy with the Sheriff's office went to look for the suspect. A Lamar officer observed the suspect vehicle pull into our local Taco Bell. The officers made contact with the individual and conducted a driving while intoxicated investigation.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Lisa J. Dahlstrom, age 47, of Tulsa Oklahoma was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail. Dahlstrom had been arrested previously on the 29th of December in Lamar on the same criminal charge of driving while intoxicated.

At the time Dahlstrom submitted to a breath test she tested almost three times over the legal limit to drive a motor vehicle.

Dahlstrom was placed on a 24-hour hold for investigation and the reports were submitted to the Barton County Prosecutor.

A warrant was obtained and served to her the following day for driving while intoxicated with no bond. Dahlstrom is incarcerated in the Barton County Jail.
