...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM
CST TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Dense
Fog Advisory, which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 10 AM
CST Tuesday.

* VISIBILITY...Dense fog will frequently reduce the visibility to
less than a quarter mile with near zero visibility at times.

* IMPACTS...The dense fog in combination with temperatures falling
below freezing will result in areas of black ice on roadways as
well as minor ice accretion on exposed surfaces. This will
result in potentially hazardous driving conditions overnight and
  Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
