Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 6 p.m. Thursday on MO 66, one mile west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a southbound 1995 Dodge Dakota driven by Eric R. Manning, 32, Joplin, crossed 66 and failed to yield to an eastbound 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by James A. Hill, 61, Joplin, The Hill vehicle struck the Manning vehicle broadside and then struck a northbound 2004 Cadillac CTS driven by Steven E. Matthews, 50, Joplin, which was stopped at a stop sign.
Manning, Hill, and a passenger in the Hill vehicle, Michael J. Hill, 56, Joplin, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
